I first met Debbie (and a very wee Sam!) in ante-natal classes. I can vividly remember her wearing a lovely, bright fuchsia-pink silk top, laughing her warm, welcoming, hearty, ever-present laugh. And since then Debbie has been the most caring, supportive and generous friend my family could have ever wished for. Our tough years seemed to coincide and despite all her own troubles she was always there for us either in person or over the telephone. She always instinctively knew how to comfort, reassure and give sound, sensible advice. We are going to feel very lost without Debbie, but are so very grateful to have known and loved her.
